The Estes Valley Voice is excited to welcome three new content creators who are joining our team.
Today we introduce Dick Mulhern’s editorial cartooning. We are also excited to welcome podcaster Brett Wilson and writer Harrison Daley. Brett’s podcasts will be available shortly –possibly later today — and we will publish Harrison’s first article next week, a feature story about a very special Estes Park resident.
We are getting ready for our Estes Chamber ribbon cutting and launch event on Monday, August 5 at 6 p.m. which will feature a private screening of the new and compelling documentary Stripped for Parts: American Journalism on the Brink. If you want to join us — the film, popcorn and drinks are on us — please RSVP as seating is limited: news@estesvalleyvoice.com.
We have several stories to share with you this week about EP Health and the long-anticipated acquisition, a lengthy interview with the fire chief who stepped down after just three months on the job, how an initiative to reduce carbon emissions can benefit the Estes Valley and RMNP, and the pesky problem with ground squirrels.
We are having some functional hiccups with our events calendar at the moment, but we expect the wrinkles to be ironed out hopefully today. Our calendar will offer readers the ability to click a button and upload community events.
We continue to be overwhelmed with the support of the community in this publishing endeavor. Thank you to all of our subscribers and supporters, sponsors and — beginning next week — advertisers.
From everyone at the Estes Valley Voice — thank you!
