The Bird’s Nest café will host a multi-media art show in its event space this weekend on Oct. 19 and 20 from 12-6 p.m. Participating artists include:

  • Mark Owens, who makes hand-crafted leather bags and other object.
  • Tim Buck, creator of the Local Herd, will sign his book, “Elk Jam” and have prints for sale.
  • Victoria Endsley, the owner of the Bear and Bee Workshop will be selling art kits for adults and children.
  • Jennifer McCarthy, of Crone Canyon Arts, will have her fiber art paintings on display.
  • Glassblower Phillip Roosen, of Elevated Glass in Longmont, will display his work.
  • Beth Engl of Remixed in Estes Park creates unique bleach-pen clothing and recycled treasures.
  • Sculptor Monte Michener will display his table top creations.
  • Local artist Wade Johnson, whose has a unique style of detailed illustration within illustration, will have his work on display.
  • Toraé Ried, an artist, illustrator, painter and photographer, will have her work available.
  • Photographer Rick Martinez will have his prints available.
  • Deedee Hampton, painter and creator, will showcase a plethora of fun pieces.
  • Ceramist Leah DeCapio will have her work on display.

The bakery team at the Bird’s Nest will be creating special treats for the pastry case during the event and upstairs, a big pot of spiced apple cider will be offered for sale by the cup – with or without whisky or rum.
