Homecoming week in Estes Park has the Bobcats roaring as the football team will play the Peyton Panthers Friday night. The new stadium seats have been installed and according to Eric Adams, operations director for Estes Park Schools, the fans will be able to sit on the news bleachers. Because the entrance above the stadium is still under construction, Adams said spectators will need to enter through the temporary entrance next to the high school building.
A pep rally was held last Friday to kick off homecoming week activities. The members of the homecoming week court are Claire OโBrien, Logan Smith, Santi Delgado, Dawn Nyugen, Cash Faith, and Bella Capo.
Over the past week, business and stores around town began to sport window paintings and showcased purple merchandise and students dressed as a barbecue dad or a soccer mom for a barbecue lunch that took place Wednesday.

A bonfire will be lit tonight at 7 p.m. in Stanley Park by members of the Estes Valley Fire Protection District after the girls volleyball game.
Friday morning a homecoming parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. by the Dairy Queen at 218 Elkhorn Ave. and proceed past Edโs Cantina and Grill and onto US Highway 7 toward Manford Avenue and the schools. A tailgate fundraiser has been organized by the Bobcat Athletic Club for Friday at 6 p.m. in the parking lot between the middle and elementary schools.
The football game will kick off at 7 p.m. The high school marching band will entertain during halftime and the members of the homecoming court will be announced. The Estes Valley Voice will live stream the parade on its Facebook page.
The homecoming dance will take place at 8 in the Commons at Estes Park High School.
