Workforce housing survey
The Town of Estes Park has partnered with the Estes Park Housing Authority to develop affordable workforce housing at the Town-owned Fish Hatchery property.
The Town and EPHA want to hear from people who live, work and are raising their families in in the Estes Valley as this property is being planned.
The survey is available in both English and Spanish.

New electric rates and Power and Communications projects in the works
Joe Lockhart, Power and Communications Line Superintendent, and Sarah Clark, AMI Coordinator, will discuss the new electric rates, effective in October, as well as current and planned electric system projects at three public meetings:
- Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Glen Haven Town Hall at 7408 CR 43 in Glen Haven
- Monday, Nov. 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Hondius Room at the Estes Valley Library at 335 E. Elkhorn Ave. in Estes Park
- Monday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Allenspark Fire Protection District Community Room at 14861 CO-7 in Allenspark
Community members will have an opportunity to review electric rates and to ask questions about projects and operations. RMNP timed entry reservations open May 1 for Memorial Day 2025
Thinking of how and when to plan your time in Rocky Mountain National Park this coming summer?
Mark May 1, 2025, on your calendar if you want to enter the park Memorial Day weekend through June. Reservations for July and unreserved times in June open on June 1. August bookings start on July 1. September bookings open on Aug, 1 and October bookings begin on Sept. 1.
Two different passes will be available again – one from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Bear Lake corridor which includes the corridor and the rest of the park, and the other for the areas other than the Bear Lake corridor from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry will be allowed in two-hour windows of availability with no set time for departure.
