Raymond Robert Joslyn, age 60, passed away from oral cancer on Aug. 15, surrounded by the love of his wife, Lisa.
For more than 40 years, Ray dedicated his life to building beautiful homes. His exceptional craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and pride in his work left a lasting legacy in the communities he helped build. To Ray, building a home meant creating a place where families could make memories for generations.
Ray shared nearly 39 years of marriage with his wife, Lisa. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion to one another. They loved traveling together, whether to California, Mexico, or across the country. Wherever their travels took them, they enjoyed stopping at neighborhood sports bars, always finding a place to cheer on their beloved Chicago Bears. No matter where they were, Bears game day was a tradition they never missed.
Above all, Ray loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his son, Jacob Joslyn; his daughter, Nicole Joslyn; his cherished granddaughter, Hailee, daughter of Jacob; Nicole’s partner, Ross Corman, and his son, Koltyn; Jacob’s partner, Jessica Armour, and her son, Kyle, and his beautiful dog, Masha. He also leaves behind his only living brother, David Joslyn, and David’s wife, Lynda, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Ray will be remembered for his dedication, his hardworking spirit, his generous heart, and the love he gave so freely to those special people. His legacy lives on not only in the beautiful homes he built but more so in the family he cherished and the countless memories he created with those he loved.
A memorial Service for Ray will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5, 2026, at Saint Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Estes Park, followed by a celebration of Ray’s life at The Barrel.

Though he is no longer with us, the strength of his character, the beauty of his work, and the love he shared with his family and friends will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the miles he traveled with Lisa, the time he spent with his kids and family and friends, the Sundays spent cheering for the Bears, and the hearts of all who loved him and he loved.
