The new Estes Valley Childcare Fund is now available to help eligible families afford child care. The program limits qualifying families’ child care expenses to no more than 10% of their income, with remaining costs paid directly to participating providers.

Funded through the lodging tax approved by voters in 2022, the initiative aims to support working parents, strengthen local child care providers, and address workforce needs across the valley.

The Town of Estes Park reported that May sales tax collections increased 11.7% compared to May 2025, reflecting another strong start to the summer tourism season.
