Hello, Estes Park! We took last week off because there weren’t many arts and culture events, but this weekend is jam-packed with activities. From fresh faces in the local art scene to cultural celebrations and playoff drama, this weekend in Estes Park offers a little something for every winter mood. Whether you’re gallery-hopping, settling in for an intimate concert, cheering through win-or-go-home football, or gathering with neighbors for bingo and karaoke, Jan. 16–18 is packed with ways to get out of the house and into the heart of the community. Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Estes Park.
‘Meet the New Artists’ at Art Center of Estes Park
Discover fresh perspectives and new creative voices at “Meet the New Artists,” the Art Center of Estes Park’s annual exhibition spotlighting members who joined the gallery in the past year. On view through February 9, the show features a diverse range of media and styles, from Janine Belletire’s soft, expressive pastels and Chris Crews’ photography to oil paintings by Kay Keyes Farrar, prints and etchings by Stephen Goddard, and handcrafted artisan jewelry by Mark Nelson. The exhibit is free to visit during regular gallery hours (Fridays through Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at the Art Center of Estes Park.
Sarah Minto-Sparks at The Rock Inn
Enjoy an evening of warm melodies and rootsy storytelling as Sarah Minto-Sparks takes the stage at the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern. Originally from Dallas and now based in Boulder, Minto-Sparks blends country and folk with deft guitar picking and an inviting, down-to-earth style. Catch her live from 5 to 8 p.m. on select dates throughout the winter and spring for a relaxed night of great music, good food, and mountain-tavern vibes.
Snowbelt Bluegrass at Lumpy Ridge
Settle in for a cozy evening of rootsy harmonies and nimble picking when Snowbelt Bluegrass brings their intimate bluegrass-folk sound to the Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co. Publick House on Friday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Based right here in Estes Park, the duo’s warm vocals and stripped-down arrangements pair perfectly with a pint in hand and the relaxed Publick House atmosphere. It’s a low-key, local night of live music made for winter listening.
Steve Tice & Steve Manshel at The Legion
Steve Tice and Steve Manshel will perform at the Tavern at the Legion on Friday, January 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at American Legion Post 119 (850 N. St. Vrain Ave.). Expect an easygoing evening of live tunes paired with hearty Tavern food and a full bar, perfect for settling into the weekend. Stick around for the weekly Queen of Hearts raffle, with ticket sales starting at 6 p.m. and the drawing at 7 p.m.
Karaoke Night at Lonigans
Take the stage at Lonigans (106 W. Elkhorn Ave.) for Karaoke Night, happening every Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight. It’s free to join, making it the perfect late-night outing with friends, family, and plenty of sing-along fun.
First Peoples Festival
Experience a powerful, community-centered celebration at the 2026 First Peoples Festival, happening Jan. 17–18 at the Estes Park Events Complex. This free, two-day festival honors Indigenous culture through a premier Indigenous art market, live music, cultural demonstrations, and a dynamic competition powwow. Highlights also include a ticketed gourmet meal featuring ingredients sourced from Indigenous farms, a curated Indigenous film screening, and a privately funded, Indigenous-produced First Peoples Fashion Show.
NFL Playoffs Games at Bogey’s
Catch all the high-stakes action of the NFL Divisional Playoff Games at Bogey’s Sports Bar on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 17–18. With win-or-go-home games all weekend, including the Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., Bogey’s is the place to watch every snap, drive, and dramatic finish. Expect wall-to-wall playoff football, an energetic crowd, and plenty of chances to cheer (or groan) as the road to the Super Bowl heats up.
Greg Miles at The Rock Inn
Take in an evening of sharp wit and musical curveballs when Greg Miles brings his acoustic set to The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern on Jan. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. A longtime Estes Park visual artist and singer-songwriter, Miles is known for unorthodox, irreverent performances that balance tongue-in-cheek originals with an unpredictable mix of covers—ranging from John Prine and Nat King Cole to blues, torch songs, and the occasional deep-cut oddity.
Rock Cut Bingo Night
Round up your crew and head to Rock Cut Brewing Company (390 W. Riverside Dr.) for Bingo Night on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. Held on the first and third Sundays each month, this free community favorite features multiple rounds of bingo with prizes up for grabs, cold beer on tap, and an easygoing, social vibe. It’s a low-key, high-fun way to cap off the weekend with friends.
Sunday Dinner Live Music at Lonigans
Wrap up the weekend with good food, craft cocktails, and live tunes at Lonigans (106 W. Elkhorn Ave.). Every Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., the pub hosts free live music in a family-friendly setting.
