Interested in running for the Town Board?
Individuals interested in learning about becoming a candidate for the Town Board are invited to an information forum on Jan. 6, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Town Board Room of Town Hall, at 170 MacGregor Ave.
This forum will include a review of the candidate packet, including candidate eligibility, nomination instructions, the nomination petition, Fair Campaign Practices Act instructions, expectations of time commitment, and the role of a Board member. The municipal election is on April 7, 2026. Voters will determine who will occupy seats currently held by Mayor Pro Tem Marie Cenac, Trustees Bill Brown and Kirby Hazelton. Mayor Pro Tem Cenac is term-limited. The other two Trustees are eligible to run for one of the three four-year terms.
Marchman Town Hall – Thursday, Jan 8 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
State Senator Janice Marchman will hold a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room. The event is open to the public. Shane Atkinson, who is running for a seat on the Larimer County Board of Commissioners, will also be in attendance and available to meet with voters from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
