Town of Estes Park holiday closures
The Town of Estes Park local government offices will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. Staff will resume normal operating hours Monday, Dec. 29.
Town offices will also be closed Thursday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day, resuming normal operating hours Friday, Jan. 2. Essential services are not affected by office closures.
Christmas tree drop off Dec. 29–Jan. 16 at the Fairgrounds
Christmas trees can be dropped off at the Estes Park Events Complex/Fairgrounds Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., beginning Dec. 29 and through Jan. 16. The drop-off site will be closed New Year’s Day. Follow the signs to the fenced drop-off location at the Community Drive entrance to the Estes Park Events Complex/Fairgrounds.
Trees must be stripped of ornaments, tinsel, and other decorations. No wreaths, garland, artificial trees, or tree stands will be accepted.
Trees must be dropped off during the specified hours and in the identified area. Dropping trees after hours or in unauthorized locations will be considered illegal dumping and may result in a fine.
Chamber Gitty Up Gala

The Estes Chamber’s Giddy Up Gala is a Colorado-chic, rodeo-themed event celebrating local businesses on Feb. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Twin Owls Steakhouse. The evening is slated to include heavy appetizers, line dancing, spirited conversation, networking activities, a silent auction benefiting business education and chamber operations, and a hat bar offering a selection of cowboy hats that guests can purchase and decorate for the evening.
