The Town of Estes Park will hold a community open house Thursday, Dec. 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Estes Park Museum to review conceptual layouts for the reconstruction of First and Second Streets in the Reclamation Neighborhood. The forum will provide an opportunity for community members to discuss project impacts on driveways, sidewalks, and parking with town engineers.

The work on Second Street is expected to be completed in early 2026. The town is seeking input on converting First Street from a two-way street to a one-way street, from South St. Vrain Avenue (CO 7) to North St. Vrain Avenue (US 36), with on-street diagonal parking. The timeline for First Street is tentatively set for 2027.
