Hello, Estes Park! As the season settles into its cozy late-autumn rhythm, the local arts and culture scene is anything but quiet. This weekend features a diverse range of creative events, including the opening of a new exhibit at the Art Center of Estes Park, live music throughout town, festive crafting classes, and family-friendly activities. Whether you’re in the mood for an intimate concert, a night at the movies, or a bingo game, there’s plenty to explore. Here are our top A&E picks for Nov. 14–16.
‘Regretting You’ Opens at the Historic Park Theatre
This week, the Historic Park Theatre opens “Regretting You,” a romantic drama based on the 2019 Colleen Hoover novel of the same name. Haunted Ghost Tours and History Tours are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14. On Saturday, Nov. 15, there will be a free screening of “The Wiz” at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 16, animated film “The Boy and the Heron” screens at 4 p.m.
‘Brushstrokes and Beyond’ at the Art Center of Estes Park
The Art Center of Estes Park (517 Big Thompson Ave.) debuts “Brushstrokes and Beyond” on Friday, Nov. 14, featuring oil and acrylic works by artist member Eileen Van Baren. Known for her expressive use of color and texture, Van Baren’s paintings capture the vibrancy and depth of the Colorado landscape. The exhibit runs through Dec. 22, open Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can also enter a drawing for a door prize donated by the artist between 11 a.m. on Nov. 14 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 17. Free and open to the public.
Marty Astry at Snowy Peaks Winery
Ease into the weekend with live music at Snowy Peaks Winery (292 Moraine Ave.) on Friday, Nov. 14, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Local musician Marty Astry brings warm, easygoing tunes to the Tasting Room. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended; call 970-586-2099 to save your spot. Free to attend.
Jon Pickett (Chain Station) Acoustic at The Rock Inn
Kick off your Friday night with an adventurous acoustic set from Jon Pickett of Chain Station at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern (1675 Highway 66) on Nov. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. A one-man band and natural-born entertainer, Pickett blends bluegrass, folk, jazz, and Motown with everything from Paul Simon to Black Sabbath to Kermit the Frog. Expect soulful originals, playful genre mashups, and high-energy mountain-town fun. Free to attend.
Friday Night Live Music at the Legion
Enjoy free live music at American Legion Post 119 (850 N. St. Vrain) on Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. This week, Neilson & Nicholson, an acoustic rock band fronted by Estes Park locals Skip Neilson and Karen Nicholson, take the stage. The Tavern menu will be available from 3 to 8:30 p.m., with happy hour running 3 to 6 p.m., and the Queen of Hearts drawing at 7 p.m.
Karaoke Night at Lonigans
Take the stage at Lonigans (106 W. Elkhorn Ave.) for Karaoke Night, happening every Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight. It’s free to join, making it the perfect late-night outing with friends, family, and plenty of sing-along fun.
Holiday Wooden Tree Class
Get festive with a hands-on holiday crafting workshop at the Estes Valley Community Center (660 Community Dr.) on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. Instructor Pam Leitner, who brings more than 20 years of wreath and floral design experience, will guide participants in creating a custom wooden holiday tree. The $45 class fee includes all materials, and you’ll leave with a unique handmade piece to brighten your home for the holidays. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot.
Random and True Acoustic Duo at The Rock Inn
Settle in for a warm, laid-back evening of live acoustic music as Random and True perform at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern (1675 Highway 66) on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. The duo consists of Geoff Clark on lead vocals and guitar and Steve Tice on harmony vocals and upright bass, and they perform an eclectic mix of covers from the 1950s to the present. With rich harmonies and acoustic arrangements tailor-made for a cozy dinner at The Rock Inn, this free show is the perfect way to unwind on a fall weekend.
Brad Fitch and Friends in the Round
Experience an intimate night of Colorado music at Listening at the Legion on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at American Legion Post 119. Cowboy Brad Fitch will host a special “in-the-round” performance featuring three guest singer-songwriters from across the state: Kae-Lynn Morgan, John Spengler, and Joe Wolking. Each artist will share original music shaped by their own landscapes, stories, and musical styles, alongside fan-favorite originals from Brad himself. Come early to enjoy dinner at The Tavern before the show. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
Rock Cut Bingo
Round up your friends for a cozy Sunday evening of Bingo at Rock Cut Brewing Company (390 W. Riverside Dr.) on Nov. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Held on the first and third Sundays each month, this free event features multiple rounds with prizes up for grabs.
Live Music at Lonigans
Wrap up the weekend with good food, craft cocktails, and live tunes at Lonigans (106 W. Elkhorn Ave.). Every Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., the pub hosts free live music in a family-friendly setting.

That is a great list of fun things to do this weekend. You might consider adding the monthly dance at the Dao House on hwy 7. . It is sponsored by the Friday niters dance club of Estes Park. They have a website. This month the dance is tonight from 7 to 10 PM. The band in The Big Twang Theory. The next dance will be Friday, January 2 with King of swing and then February 13.
