Hello, Estes Park! Halloween weekend is here, and the town is buzzing with parties, live music, and spooky fun. From A Publick House Halloween and the Legion’s Day of the Dead party to psychic readings and ghost tours at the Historic Park Theatre, there’s no shortage of thrills. Add in the Rocky Mountain Craft Spirits Festival, a reunion show from the Dennis Tobias Band, and even a Flock of Seagulls concert at The Stanley, and you’ve got a weekend full of reasons to get out and celebrate. ‘Good Fortune’ Opens at the Historic Park Theatre
This week, the Historic Park Theatre will debut the new film “Good Fortune,” starring Keanu Reeves as an angel named Gabriel who swaps the lives of a gig worker (Aziz Ansari) and a wealthy tech investor (Seth Rogen). A Ghost Hunt and Haunted Ghost Tour are scheduled on Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1. All weekend, the theatre hosts psychic readings with medium Rebekah Blackburn, an atmospheric experience inside the historic venue. Readings are first-come, first-served, starting at $38 (plus $7 booking fee), or you can book online to reserve a spot. There are also free 40th anniversary screenings of “Back to the Future” and “Clue.”
A Publick House Halloween
Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company will be closed on Friday, Oct. 31, but the party’s moving downtown for A Publick House Halloween at Lumpy Publick House (203 Cleave St.). Festivities run throughout the evening with live music from Jingle Jangle Jabroni (6 to 8 p.m.), street food from Chef Rob of Street Noods (2 to 8 p.m.), plus candy and hot chocolate for the kids. Head to Cleave Street and celebrate Halloween with brews, bites, and community fun.
Halloween Party with High Plains Connection
Head to the American Legion Post 119 (850 N. St. Vrain) on Friday, Oct. 24, for a costume contest and Halloween party that kicks off at 3 p.m. The Tavern’s bar and restaurant will be open, and there’ll be live music performed by Chuck Sitero of High Lonesome from 6 to 8 p.m. Plus, the Queen of Hearts progressive raffle kicks off at 6 p.m., with the jackpot drawing at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
David Tiller at The Rock Inn
Catch acclaimed musician David Tiller at The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern (1675 Highway 66) on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. A founding member of Taarka and ThaMuseMeant, Tiller has collaborated with groups like Elephant Revival, played mandolin with High Lonesome, and guitar with the Bonnie Paine Band. Now, as he releases his first solo record this fall, he brings decades of songwriting and performance experience to the stage for an intimate evening of music. Free to attend.
Karaoke Night at Lonigans
Take the stage at Lonigans (106 W. Elkhorn Ave.) for Karaoke Night, happening every Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight. It’s free to join, making it the perfect late-night outing with friends, family, and plenty of sing-along fun.
Rocky Mountain Craft Spirits Festival
Raise a glass at the Rocky Mountain Craft Spirits Festival, happening Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Estes Park Events Complex (1125 Rooftop Way). This speakeasy-inspired celebration features tastings from more than 40 Colorado distilleries, along with food trucks, live vendors, and complimentary craft spirits education sessions. Guests can also snap a vintage tintype portrait and relax in speakeasy lounges while sampling their favorite drinks. Tickets are $45 and include a souvenir tasting glass.
Geoff Clark Acoustic at The Rock Inn
Settle in for an evening of live local music as Geoff Clark brings his Americana, alt-country, folk, and rock blend to The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern (1675 Highway 66). A guitarist and songwriter based in Estes Park, Clark adds Irish drinking songs to his set for a lively, welcoming atmosphere from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1. No cover.
Day of the Dead Party with Tahosa
Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the American Legion Post 119 (850 N. St. Vrain) on Saturday, Nov. 1, with a full day of fun from 3 to 9 p.m. The highlight is a free live concert from local band Tahosa at 6 p.m., plus costume and makeup contests with prizes. Enjoy tavern food and drinks while you dance the night away. Open to all ages and free to attend.
A Flock of Seagulls at The Stanley Hotel
Step back into the ’80s when new wave icons A Flock of Seagulls perform at The Stanley Hotel Concert Hall on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. Known for hits like “I Ran (So Far Away)” and “Space Age Love Song,” the band brings its signature sound to one of Colorado’s most historic venues. Tickets are $45, ages 21+ only.
Dennis Tobias Band at the Legion
A special reunion performance from the Dennis Tobias Band at American Legion Post 119 (850 N. St. Vrain) takes place on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. This free show brings back one of Estes Park’s favorite dance bands for an afternoon of high-energy music. Rock Cut Bingo

“Reflections of the West” at the Art Center of Estes Park
The Art Center of Estes Park member show, “Reflections of the West,” features watercolor works by Connie Schmidt and pastel and oil pieces by Pat Sebern. The free exhibit runs daily through Nov. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 517 Big Thompson Ave.
