SnowBelt, a bluegrass duo from Estes Park that blends bluegrass, old-time, folk, Irish fiddle, and improvisational jams, will perform at the Tavern at the Legion on Friday, Sept. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Queen of Hearts raffle will take place at 7 p.m. with a drawing of more than $4K.


Downton Abbey fans will bid farewell to the beloved period drama with the release of “The Grand Finale” on Friday, September 12. The Julian Fellows film first aired in 2010 and ran for fifty-two episodes across six series, including five Christmas specials, and two feature films. This farewell film is set in the summer of 1930 as social and economic forces bring inevitable changes to the upstairs and downstairs lives of the people who live at Downton Abbey. 

The Historic Park Theater is sponsoring a contest for three studio giveaways. To enter, log onto the theater’s Facebook Page, then like the page, like the Downton Abbey post, and then tag a friend by midnight Sept. 11. The winners will be contacted on Sept. 13. 


Almost all first-run films shown on the big screen at the Historic Park Theatre can be listened to in Spanish with a cell phone while watching the film. Viewers need a subscription to Theater Ears, which is $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year, and their own earphones or earbuds.The theater can connect viewers with high-speed internet to the Theater Ears app.


Two different dueling piano companies will tickle the ivories this week in EP. The Dueling Pianos Official Road Show will entertain on Thursday, Sept 11 at 7 p.m. at the Historic Park Theater, and the Colorado Keys Dueling Pianos will play Friday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m. at The Bull Pin. 


Greg Miles brings his offbeat charm and eclectic style to the stage. With a setlist that swings from blues and torch songs to 16th-century liturgical melodies and Mexican ballads—plus his own original tunes delivered with a dash of sarcasm on the rooftop patio Sept.12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bogey’s, 281 W. Riverside Dr.


A juried art show with 100 artists displaying photography, painting, pencil artists, mixed media, glasswork, candles, soaps, oil lamps, woodworking, metalworking, jewelry, bath/body products, yarn, clay, pottery, and textiles. The show is in Bond Park on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Thanksgiving is nearly three months away, but the wild turkeys of the area get their own celebration in Allenspark on Saturday, Sept. 13. From a morning pancake breakfast to kids’ coloring contests, games and family-friendly activities – including a turkey-calling contest those attending this first-time event will come away from a full day of entertainment, including live music, local vendors and a farmers’ market.


Brian Allison will perform Sunday afternoon, Sept. 14th. Brian, originally from Chicago and now based in Nashville, is an Americana singer/songwriter who blends heartfelt emotion with a rich musical heritage influenced by artists like The Beatles, The Allman Brothers, Chris Stapleton, and Brandi Carlile.
