Members of the Town’s development code rewrite team will be in Estes Park on Sept. 10 and 11 at various times and locations, including the Estes Valley Farmers Market, to engage with the public, discuss the process, and gather community input.

The Town will host an open house on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the cafeteria at Estes Park Middle School, 1500 Manford Ave, to give community members another chance to review materials related to the proposed development code.

Additionally, community members are encouraged to give feedback on the rewrite of the Town’s development code via an online survey, which remains open until Sept. 22.

Members of the community can also review a slide deck presentation about the code rewrite that was recently presented by Eric Krohngold of Design Workshop and Phillip Supino of Headwaters Community Planning to the Town Board during a study session.

Want a campsite in Moraine Park? Spots between Sept. 10 and Sept. 27 can be reserved through www.recreation.gov. The campground will close between Sept. 28 and Oct. 20 so a few remaining construction items can be completed, but it will be reopened for winter camping. Winter camping requires no reservation, as those opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Oct. 20.
