With only three candidates vying for the three open seats on the Estes Park School District R-3 board, a special meeting will be held today at 4:30 at the District’s offices, 1605 Brodie Ave., to adopt a resolution to cancel the election, which had been set for Nov. 4, and declare the candidates to be elected by acclamation.

The three individuals who will be declared elected by acclamation are incumbents Stacy Ferree and Ava Kendall, and newcomer Franco Wederski. Board members are elected to serve a four-year term. Ferree is the current board president, and Kendall is the vice president.

There is a Zoom option for individuals who can not attend the meeting in person. Click here for access to the Zoom link.
