Expats from Nebraska and Iowa will gather to connect with others who have moved from the Midwest to the mountains in two separate picnic events.

The Nebraska Picnic

The  sixth annual Estes Park Nebraska potluck picnic will take place this Sunday, July 13 at 4 p.m. at the Presbyterian Community Church Fellowship Hall, 1700 Brodie Ave. Participants are encouraged to wear their Big Red Nebraska colors.

Seating will be available inside and out, but individuals are asked to bring a lawn chair if they want to sit outside. Kool-Aid and water will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a potluck item to share and to RSVP to estesfornebraska@gmail.com

The Iowa Picnic

The Estes Park Iowa picnic will take place on Thursday, July 17 at 5 p.m. at the Stanley Park Blue Bird Shelter.

Participants are encouraged to wear their Iowa colors โ€“ go Hawks, go Cyclones, Go Bulldogs, Go Panthers, and Go University of Okoboji Alums.

Iowa door prizes will be awarded for the best team colors.

Bring your own picnic, dinnerware, beverage, and a folding chair. No RSVP is necessary but if you have questions or ideas, email estesforiowa@gmail.com
