Grant funding for workforce housing and childcare projects

Visit Estes Park received a one-time grant of $28,000 from the Colorado Tourism Office, a division of the Colorado Governor’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade, specifically for workforce housing and childcare.

In March, a grant fund distribution committee was formed. The committee developed an application process for local organizations to request funding.

Eligible projects must directly benefit workforce housing or childcare needs in Estes Park and should be completed in 2025.

The funds, from additional proceeds raised by Frozen Dead Guy Days, could be awarded to one or multiple projects.

The application deadline for funds is June 16. The committee will review applications from June 17 to 27. Recipients will be notified the week of June 30.
