Trustee Talk is Thursday, Oct. 24

Mayor Pro Tem Marie Cenac and Trustee Mark Igel are set to meet with community members during a Trustee Talk at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Town Hall Board Room, 170 MacGregor Ave. This is an opportunity for community members to discuss local issues with members of the board in an informal setting. There’s no set agenda for the evening; residents are invited to bring their questions and topics for an open discussion on local issues.

Prepare to pay 2025 town licenses and fees

The Town Clerk’s office is notifying short term rental owners to be prepared to pay an additional $30 for the 2025 Workforce Housing Regulatory Linkage fee associated with their vacation home licensing fee. The linkage fee was instituted in 2022 and is collected through the annual license fees that are due no later than Friday, January 31, 2025. The fee is adjusted annually based on inflation in September. The 2025 annual fee will consist of: $200 base fee, $50 fee/bedroom, and the $1,460 Workforce Housing Regulatory Linkage Fee. The linkage fee in 2024 was $1,430.

Wellness Clinic on Nov. 9

Presentations by physical and occupational therapists along with an orthopedic surgeon top the billing for the upcoming Nov. 9 Wellness Fair on the lower level of the Estes Valley Community Center.

Sponsored by Salud Family Health and Estes Park Health, Paul Asher, occupational therapist, Kate Jami, physical therapist, and orthopedist Dr. Gavin Bishop are scheduled to be featured speakers during the clinic from 9 a.m. to noon. Those who attend can visit booths from Qi Lounge, Fleet Feet, Community Hearing Center, Glacier Lily Beauty, Elements of Touch, Dr. Grant Spencer Chiropractic, Estes Park Pilates, Salt and Stone Spa, UCHealth’s Aspen Club, Kristy Pauls Counseling, Life Wave® Light Therapy Patches, Affinity Massage and Wellness Center, Partners Mentoring, Larimer County Department of Health and the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District that will be offering a sale of end of season apparel.
